Local sources of renewable energy, most often PV, are created in Poland like the proverbial “mushrooms after rain”. At the same time, in many places in the country distribution system operators signal serious problems with local overload of low voltage networks. Such imbalance not only limits the current level of network infrastructure security, but is in many cases a critical barrier to the development of new network services, such as a system of fast chargers for electric vehicles. The solution to the problem may be the installation of Power Booster class energy storage, which ETC + is just introducing to the Polish market.
